Becoming an EFRAG Member Organisation
EFRAG is a publicly and privately funded organisation working in the European public interest.
The European Commission provides the public sector funding and the EFRAG Member Organisations provide the private sector funding. These are organised in three Chapters: European Stakeholders Organisations Chapter, National Organisations Chapter, and a Civil Society Organisations Chapter.
Supported by the European Commission, the Council and the European Parliament, EFRAG is continuously seeking to broaden its membership base, notably in the National Organisations Chapter.
EFRAG seeks as well to broaden is membership in the Civil Society Organisations Chapter and European Stakeholder Organisations Chapter notably with impact expertise organisations to be representative of of corporate reporting stakeholders.
EFRAG Member Organisations have to support the mission of EFRAG in developing EU sustainability reporting standards and contribute to the financing of EFRAG.

Becoming a Friend of EFRAG
EFRAG introduces the Friends of EFRAG whereby entities can give their individual support to EFRAG’s mission and support EFRAG’s reporting activities.
Advantages of being Friends of EFRAG
- Visibility on the website
- Mention in the annual report
- Reserved seats at physical events
- Access to documents prior to publication
- A possible panellist position in EFRAG´s events
- A possible EFRAG representations in the entitities´events
- Private meetings with the EFRAG high level representatives
- Use of "Friend of EFRAG" logo respecting the guidelines
How to apply
Applications are reviewed by the EFRAG General Assembly and should be compatible with EFRAG´s mission, not impair the independence of EFRAG or cause conflict of interests.
Becoming a Friend of EFRAG involves an annual contribution of a minimum of 5 000 euros. Organisations are encouraged to provide a higher amount corresponding to their profile, size and footprint.

Becoming a member of EFRAG Reporting TEG, a TEG Reporting Working Group, Panel or Forum
EFRAG launches annually on its website a call for candidates for EFRAG Reporting TEG members with a wide range of professional backgrounds on corporate reporting and geographical origins and respecting diversity and welcomes all applications. EFRAG Reporting TEG members provide technical advice to the EFRAG Reporting Board, which has the responsibility for all the EFRAG technical positions and technical advice to the European Commission.
EFRAG also launches periodically on its website a call for candidates to apply for EFRAG Reporting T members.

Participating in surveys, outreach reach events, field tests or sending a comment letter
You can also participate in surveys, outreach events, field tests or send a comment letter so that EFRAG better understands your issues and how corporate reporting is affecting you.

Participating in interactive conferences, webinars and educational sessions
You can also participate in conferences, webinars and educational sessions. These events are an opportunity to hear views directly from European constituents and stimulate debate.
