Peter Schaap is a partner at Deloitte and leads Deloitte’s FSI ESG Data Management practice. Peter leads Deloitte’s collobration with 2degrees investing initiative, including the development of an open source methodoly to create SME ESG data profiles that FSIs can use to feed their risk and reporting processes and in engaging with their clients and supporting client actions of SMEs.
Peter is a curious and proactive professional who is interested in supporting organizations to understand, measure, report and act on risks, leveraging modern technology capabilities. Peter is a certified public accountant in the Netherlands and is a GARP certified Financial Risk Manager. Peter combines a background in software engineering and IT management with extensive experience in large transformations in the Finance and Risk domain. Peter has ample experience with preparing digital (XBRL) reports in various industries, including supervisory reporting within Europe. Furthermore, Peter has experience with advanced data modelling, including taxonomy modelling and report consumption.
