Professor Dr. Thorsten Sellhorn is Director of the Institute for Accounting, Auditing and Analysis at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich's School of Management.

Thorsten studied and conducted research at the Universities of Bochum, Wisconsin-Madison, Arizona-Tucson, Boston (BU) and Harvard Business School. His research appears in leading international journals.

Thorsten teaches accounting, financial statement analysis and valuation as well as sustainability reporting in renowned BSc, MSc, MBA and ExecEd programs, and he is co-author of a leading German textbook on international accounting.

He represents the European Accounting Association on the IFRS Foundation's IFRS Advisory Panel and is a member of EFRAG's Academic Panel.

He co-hosts the Sustainability Reporting Navigator platform, which provides data on ESG-related reporting requirements and practices as well as educational materials.
